Edge: Quick Actions Offers Faster, Unified Access To Android Settings & Recent Apps

Once launched, Edge: Quick Actions startss running in the background, and can be activated by swiping in from the left side of the display. This in turn brings up a small horizontal menu that carries icons for your running apps, along with toggles for basic settings such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, Vibration etc. You can also customize the available shortcuts from the settings screen.
The bottom part of this bar carries navigation button for Home, music playback controls and the app drawer. That’s right, you can open the app drawer over any currently running app to quickly launch another app without having to go to the home screen first, making it one of the most useful features of this app. Tapping the cross button closes the overlaying menu.
  

When it comes to customization, Edge: Quick Actions gives users a ton of flexibility and control. The settings screen (accessible via tapping the app’s icon) allows you to configure a handful of options such as showing or hiding recent apps and choosing their total count (Pro only), personalizing top and bottom shortcuts, adjustin g edge sensitivity and height, and a few other options under General settings. You can also change the action side of the menu from left to right, though this option is only offered in the Pro version of Edge.
